PLEASE NOTE: MOST online orders placed after the 18th of December 2024 will not be dispatched until Thursday the 2nd of January 2025. All orders on our return will be dispatched on a 24 to 48 hour delivery service at no extra expense . This is because we are a small family business with young children; We work hard the whole year around and believe that the festive period is to be spent with our children, Daisy and Gordi the little people who are at the heart of our business. Please note our shop will be open sporadically during this period, some items may be available for you to collect if you wish to do so. However we do NOT hold every item in the shop! Please do give us a call before you set off on your journey! If we did hold it in the shop we would dispatch your item during days the shop is open during the festive period. We aim to get items back in stock ASAP. If you would like to contact us via email or phone we will see if we have a date for you or see if we can find a alternative.
Yes you can cancel your order. Please do this within 3 working days of making the order or it will be dispatched. If cancelled after 3 working days we will refund you minus the postal charges.
Yes you can view our items at our store (70 High Street Wombwell S73 8DA) We do not display all items in the store if you would like to view something particular, please contact us before you come just encase it is not available for you to view.
Yes we feel it is important to support other small businesses. We will offer a discount on a large orders to other businesses. Please get in touch.
We source our items from credible suppliers both here in the UK and overseas.
If you are a local customer yes you can pay cash on delivery. Please contact us to place your order.
Yes you can order some of our small to medium sized items. Please contact us for a postal quote.
We ONLY offer furniture to our local customers so that we can offer the very best price. When going outside of our local area it makes it very hard to reach a competitive price.

NO we do NOT dropship. We would never use this service for many reasons.
A. We would not want our customers to waits several weeks to get their items
B. We would never send a item out that we haven't seen ourselves and are happy with the quality of the product!
C. Dropship products are offered at very low prices for two reasons they are coming directly from China and other overseas countries. They are made as cheaply as possible using cheap materials. They make their employees work day and night for very little wage. The employees have no choice but to work these hours to support their families. DaisyandGordi's will take no participation in using any companies that do NOT treat people like human beings!
We ship some items in ourselves from fairtrade establishments and we use UK suppliers that also participate in fairtrade. Yes this does make our prices slightly higher than dropship prices but personally I would always pay a higher price to ensure someone overseas is being treated like fairly.
If we do not hold the item in stock we will collect it from our UK suppliers for you. If we have shipped the item in ourselves and it is currently out of stock this will be shown on our website as OUT OF STOCK we would never allow orders to be taken on this item when we know it will take weeks to get to you.
On rare occasions our website does not update quick enough when we place it as 'out of stock' and orders are taken. On these rare cases we will contact you and immediately refund. If the item is arriving soon we may advise timescales. If you wish to keep your item we will immediately dispatch it when it arrives in stock, but we would only do this is the wait is very small.
There is many online companies that say the item is 'in stock' when it is not! They know it is 'out of stock' but aim to get as many orders as possible without any thought for their customer. Here at DaisyandGordi's we are transparent and would never mislead our customers!
Hi yes we do sell on other platforms. We do charge more on these platforms because we have to cover their fees. There fees are very high! If you have placed a order with them we can NOT cancel your order or refund the difference as we are still liable for their fees. We do advise that you buy directly with us in future for a lower price as their fees are not implemented in our website prices.
When you buy directly with us you will still receive the same item and a exceptional service from us.
